About the event
This is a fun event that we used to attend annually. We will drive Friday night from Fort Worth and arrive at Grand Gulf close to midnight. The park has a 3 room (adults, youth, females have a room each) dog trot cabin that everyone can setup cots or air mattresses in (no tents to setup). We will drill in the morning and have battles for the public the rest of the day.
Sunday we will pack up after breakfast and drive up to tour the Vicksburg National Park museum and take the driving tour (with a few select stops) then head home.
Youth members will need to bring $20 for Friday and Sunday evening meals on the road - the crew will provide all other meals and snacks. The alumni will pay admittance fees for all youth members at the national park.
