Company Drill Weekend - Fort Richardson State Park, Jacksboro Texas

Venturing Crew 1872, Longhorn Council, BSA, invites you to participate in a Living History Weekend at historic Fort Richardson State Park, in Jacksboro, Texas. This weekend is an introduction to living history and battle reenactments. You will:

· learn the history Fort Richardson & the 4thU.S. Cavalry,

· Be issued a uniform and period equipment and firearm,

· learn how to move and fight as a company,

· tour the fort and its museums and ruins,

· Sleep in the Enlisted Barracks & dine in the Lost Battalion Dinning Hall, and
