This is a shortened version of wintercamp when we will conduct drills and maneuvers, skirmishes out at the ranch, fort tours and post duty at Fort Richardson barracks!

About the event
Enlist with the Fourth US cavalry for the weekend. Arrive Friday evening after 7pm and we will issue you a bunk in the barracks and uniforms with some evening programs. Saturday morning you will learn cavalry marching drills and manual of arms. In the afternoon we will conduct a guided tour of the fort, (live fire with period arms depending on registration), a skirmish. In the evening after dinner, we will have history game show to earn fractional currency, period games of chance to lose your currency, movies and good fun. Sunday we will conduct a flag retirement ceremony after breakfast and closing ceremony at 10am.
